95 dx a/t @#^# question =
does a dx with 4 speed a/t have the problem found on the 3 speed a/t,s. my 3 speed loss a/t fluid around the c/v,s causing severe damage to the differential. a complete a/t replacement was needed. the differential fluid is contained in a separate area. the dip stick for a/t may look full, but beware. the differential is very difficult to get a level reading from.you need to get under the car. even the guys at quicky oil change could not access it.

Re: 95 dx a/t @#^# question =
According to Edmunds, the '95 AT has a separate differential, as did the 3-spd. You are supposed to periodically inspect the differential fluid level as a scheduled maintenance item. Also, this should leave drops on the ground if it leaks. I think it is infrequent that these seals leak, however, forwarned is forearmed. Keep an eye on it and you shouldn't have any problem.
Don't go by the difficulties encountered by Jiffy Lube guys. Some of them would have trouble locating their butts. Buy a jack and jackstands and do it yourself every oil change. Once you find it, it will seem like cake.
