Somebody, kill me now please...

As many of you know, I have a recent ignition problem. Well, while unplugging my battery ummm...the door blew closed and all of the locks magically locked! both of em.... while the keys are still syuck in the ignition. Next question...how to unlock the doors on a powerless 94 camaro. I cant press the power door locks button cuz the battery is disconnected

That is hard to do on the newer cars. Even a 94. Best bet is to call a locksmith...

Re: Somebody, kill me now please...

If you could get your hands on a slim jim that might be better than a coat hanger

you know i dont mean do try to get it in the door panel. I mean the lock that you push with your finger.

Re: Somebody, kill me now please...

But he has no power. He could hook the battery back up. Push comes to shove break the window and just get a new window... Hope it does not come to that

Re: Somebody, kill me now please...

once you get the keys out, get a copy of the door key made and keep it in your wallet in case this ever happens again.

Re: Somebody, kill me now please...

Ha ha, love it. That happened to me a couple of months ago when the aftermarket control module went screwy for my Buicks remote start and keyless entry. I didn't give a rats ass so I shorted the prick out and when the doors unlocked I ripped that sonnabitch out threw it on the ground. Put it back in, havent had a problem since

replug the battery, climb in through the trunk and unlock the doors, shouldn't THAT work?
