Help ASAP timing belt snapped

ok guys I guess my sister driving down the freeway turning at about 45mph and engine stalled and she called me and only thing i could think of was a fuse or timing belt snapped. Well I went over her house and check to see what was wrong and sure enough it was belt and was leaking coolant by waterpump area, So I can only think timing belt snapped cause waterpump frooze up and this was just changed 30,000 miles ago...My question is do you guys think the valves got bent in the process if it snapping at that speed...cause i know on some ohc pistons and valves dont touch no matter what and I am speaking on newer cars...help a brother out and tell me what you guys know thanks.....
