Smile Fixed my vibration and A/C problem...

Thanks for the advice from many people out there and I can only say this because I enjoyed my 2000 Blazer LS quite a bit but... The easiest way to fix all the annoying problems from the 98+ Blazers is to trade it in and let it become someone else's problem.

I owned my 2000 LS 4x2 for almost 2 years and I either had bad luck or problems with the A/C and vibration seem to be common amongst other owners. I maintained my car very well, religiously changing the oil, greasing the underside and not putting the car through any abuse... Same thing i've done to all my other vehicles but the Blazer was turning into a money pit. I thank the shop who told me to come back in a couple hours for being busy, otherwise I would still have my Blazer today and be plagued with maintenance issues...

Well, I jumped off the Blazer wagon and traded it in for an Expedition... I have lost my faith in the Blazer and the three guys at my work who also own 98+ Blazers 2&4 wheel drive are all complaining of similar issues... About the only positive thing I can say about the Blazer is that they look good and the Engine is strong... Other than that, I'm glad I dumped mine...

Re: Fixed my vibration and A/C problem...

I've spent a ton of money fixing my 2000 Jimmy, however in retrospect it was the lack of correct maintenance that caused 80% of my problems. Each make and model is different, one size does not fit all when comes to maintaining cars and particularly SUVs. If you get regular oil changes but not proper lub jobs you're asking for trouble with these vehicles. If you get aftermarket rims but don't understand that these SUVs happen to have a high offset your going have vibration more issues. If you don't change the coolant and go buy the manual (which is GM's fault in this case) you're going to have even bigger problems with your coolant system. I bought my SUV brand new and for the first 45K miles I didn't have a lick of problems, even with sub-par maintenance. These trucks are excellent if handled properly...best of luck with the Expedition
