Solutions for electrical problems??

Let me give a little background. We bought our 2003 2wd sub. brand new. After a month or so, we had to take it back because the passenger power seat quit working and the radio would change stations (or go to CD) on its own. They claimed wiring was the problem and they "fixed" it. A few months later, the car wouldn't start. They said it was a battery problem (with 12000 miles on it) it was still under warranty but I was getting concerned about the electrical situation. Reader's Digest version: it goes back into the shop for the same reasons 6 more times. They replace the radio, re-wire under the seats, and put in a new wire harness in the steering wheel column ( to fix the non-start problem). Now, here I sit having been stranded tonight with my 3 young kids because it won't start again. And we are not under warranty any more. It has been towed to the dealership again. Last time we made it clear that we are not happy customers and we expected some help. They did fix the wire harness at no cost to us. But what about now? Is there anyone else who has this kind of experience? I am getting tired of worrying about when it is going to malfunction again! Don't you buy new so you don't have to worry? Sorry my post is so long but you need to know all that has happened. Thank you for anything!
