88 G20: Modifications

Hey guys,

I'm glad I found this place. Looks to be very helpful!

So, I just recently purchased an 88 G20 conversion (V8 5.0 (I think), 4 speed auto). Over the past couple weeks, I've been slowly making the van my own. I've removed the back bench seat and running rails. I've cleaned up a bit of it as well. I'm modifying it to transport equipment and people at the same time along with my dogs for joyrides or camping trips.

Now I've come into a couple obsticals while changing the van to suit me.
Obstical 1:
Back auxillary heater. I would love to have it gone but my girlfriend's dad said it couldn't be removed. There's 4 rubber tubes that run to the heater (one has a valve on it) along with the electrical wires to power it. So, is there any way to remove it without causing the heater to no longer work?

Obstical 2:
Electrical wiring. There's a TV in the van I want to use. Not for VCR or DVD, but my Nintendo (I'm a game freak). It seems in the back of the extended top, there's a space for what used to have a VCR, but after feeling around, I found no plugs or anything in the back. I've looked at how the TV gets it's power and from what it seems, there's a similar power cable that does run to the back to power something. I've had my band's soundguy and electric guru take a look and he couldn't come to any conclusions on how to get the Nintendo to work. Can someone please tell me how it all works and point me in the right direction to get everything going?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
