My truck shuts off at 98 mph. How do I get rid of that it sucks.

A programmer or a custom tune. Neither is cheap. Why do you need to go over 98 anyway?

well i have a 95 blazer 4x4 if i gentnelly accelrate it cuts off at 98 also but if i jam the gas to the floor and go fast it cuts off at 101 cuz it got to 101 before the ecu could reposnd to it howevr hey its there for a reason the suspention of these trucks were not made to hadle over 100 mph so its there to keep you from being a idiot so if its not fast enougth then find another car phrhaps a sysclone???

a truck bed is a huge wind catch, you dont need over 98 mph unless your looken for a drag strip

dmbrisket 51 has been crossing the line more and more lately. If it continues he will get a vacation.


MT-2500 you've been on the forums a while. I've seen you help a lot of people, and provide some very useful information. I'm surprised (and a little disappointed) to see you being a part of encouraging this type of behavior.
