adding A/C????
need help- restoring a 1979 Z28 that came from the factory without air. Anybody have any advice as far as adding A/C???

the swap meet is your best friend. Ebay...or dig up some good 2nd gen or camaro websites and dig around there for the a/c parts off of a car that did come with it.

bingo, but i dunno if you can rig it to use the vents that are already in the dash.

Hell, for a 79, you'd probably be able to find a complete dash for an a/c car someplace more reasonable that Year One / Paddock / NPD or any of those other guys.
I would find a donor car that you can take ALL the parts off of... probably pick one up for like $500 for a parts car.
