Unhappy Venture SIR Cover

Hi All,

I have a 98 Venture. Installed DVD player tried to rout wireless headphone wire under the SIR cover, did a stupid thing like prying up the SIR cover on the passenger side, now I can't close it. Now the cover is partially open on the rear edge. If anybody know how to fix it, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Venture SIR Cover

I'm sorry, but what is the SIR Cover?
Also, I'd be interested in where you installed the dvd player. I have a 97 that I'd like to make more kid friendly, but I'm not sure where to place everything.

Re: Venture SIR Cover

Try this site for instruction. http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/ab_par...168099,00.html.

I replace the factory radio with a DVD/CD/MP3 player and 10.4 inch LCD monitor. You can get them cheap at:

Player:

Instlling the roof mount LCD takes a little bit of time but the player is easy.
