Muffler
I'm looking to put a aftermarket muffler on my 2002 extended cab tacoma. I was wondering if it was worth it. I'm really only looking for sound not performance. If so, which one I should look at.

Re: Muffler
Your better off spending the money on a catback. Adding just a muffler will never sound or perform as good as a full catback. Here is a link for some catbacks for your tacoma.

Re: Muffler
Ravin mufflers hands down sound the best. I've heard several trucks with this brand of muffler and they sounds great! Smooth, crisp rumble. It will also save money to get just the muffler.
Good Luck. |

Re: Muffler
I have a flowmaster on my 00. It has a really nice deep sound to it.

Re: Muffler
How do the Ravin mufflers compare to the Flowmaster 40?? is it better to get a Magnaflow or Borla or TRD Catback? i like the dual rear exit exhaust tho...the catbacks for the tacomas only have single side exit.
Does Ravin hav a website? |

Re: Muffler
Just type ravin performance exhaust into google. Midas usually carries ravin mufflers. At least thats where i purchased mine.

Re: Muffler
Flowmaster sounds awesome but borla and magnaflow give more performance. if you want a not so high priced muffler go with a flowmaster 40 dual chamber, you can buy it with a single inlet and dual outlet for a dual exhaust but of course you need to fabricate the tubing yourself $$$
