2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition - Help!

the first problem was the horn honking on its own! the dealership laughed at me and tried to send me home unfixed until it went on a honking spree right there in front of them! Now that it is out of warranty the driver side passenger light won't work most of the time (it does suprise me when it does) the passenger rear view mirror moves on its own! the interior lights may or may not go out (have to turn off dash lights to drive at night when they refuse to turn off) now the controls on the steering wheel work - don't work - work - don't work! The dvd is moody at best! I am worried the power steering will go while I am on IH35 rush hour!!!! Help!!! - oh, and I can't forget that it constantly tells me a door is open! and it decided to turn the AC to heat (85 degrees to be exact) when the steering controls finally came back on! my dream car is giving me an ulcer! sometimes it makes a loud "thunk" when it has sat for a few days and funny noises (sometimes) when you start the AC (hiss and release sound) and the AC smells funny! oh, almost forgot! it now takes almost 5 minutes for the auto door locks to kick in! the more I think about it the worrier I get driving it!

I also own a '03 Expo and went through some of the problems you are going through right now; turned out to be my battery. Take your Expo to somewhere like Autozone and have the battery tested. My a/c also makes that hissing sound you described..still working on that one; I'm having it looked at this weekend when the Expo goes in for its 60k mile service.
