lowering spindles
I have never seen any lowering spindles for the 80-90 caprice but i've heard people use them. Are they off a Camaro or the lowering spindles for the SS. how would I correct the steering geometry on the front and the pinoin angle in the back if I use lowering springs. I'm trying to get this Baby going for some cruise night action in a couple weeks.
Also, does anyone know where i can get 9C1 rear control arms and sway bar? |

Re: lowering spindles
BellTech 2105 spindles are designed for the B-Body. 2" of drop with stock springs and steering.
Hotchkis offers a lot of parts for lowering and ride control, as well as other vendors. As for correcting the pinion angle, you'll need a gauge. Here's a "how-to" article: http://www.carcraft.com/howto/91758/ |

Re: lowering spindles
This is what I understand. If your car has 11" rotors, drop spindles are for 12" rotors. So you would need different rotors, either newer caprice rotors or the ones mentioned here for a camaro http://www.globalwest.net/1964-72%20...informatio.htm . I can't remember if the calipers are the same or not. Also there might be a difference in ball joints sizes. Not too sure though. For the rear control arms I plan on getting these http://www.umiperformance.com/bbody.aspx . From what I read good quality and inexpensive.
