Park Ave Wont Go Into Pak

can Somone Please Help Me, I Notice The Other Day When I Came To My Stop I Put My Car In Park And It Kept Rolling. It Will Not Crank At All I Guess It Is Not Going Into Park At The Transmission (linkage) Is There Another Gear I Can Crank It In I Also Notice It Wont Go Into L1 Or L2 Like My Linkage Have Slipped Or Loose. I Have A 92 Pa If Anyone Can Help Please Call Me At 919 633 5744 Or Leave Me A Note Up Here.

You can should crank the engine in either neutral or park.

It sounds like the transmission selection cable is loose or maybe justed stretched. You can adjust the cable. The neutral safety switch (which prevents the car from being started in gear) is at the other end of the cable.
