97 Lumina ABS light
Hi all, I have an ABS light on and I inspected the fuses including the ones under the hood. I even went through all the wiring connections to the box under the hood and replaced the actual ABS module with no success. I disconnected the battery for an hour and no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thank you

Re: 97 Lumina ABS light
The ABS light indicates a bad wheel speed sensor or problem with the abs system. The only way to narrow it down is with an ABS capable scanner. The ones Advance and Auto Zone use are not ABS capable.

Re: 97 Lumina ABS light
I had this happen and I found it to be frayed wires at left rear wheel sensor. Repaired wires and all was good.
Hope this helps. |
