rear a/c question on '96 suburban

are there any other filters or screens in the lines besides the orfice(sp) tube?

the reason i ask is i have no cold air coming from the rear a/c it went out before the old compressor went bad. i flushed the entire system when the compressor went out, replaced the orafice tube, and replaced the expansion valve twice after the system was redone and still no luck.the rear coils don't even get cold.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

Re: rear a/c question on '96 suburban

I had a similar problem on my '96 and it turned out to be a bad rear expansion valve.

thanks for the links NoEcm. looks like i'm gonna have to send it to an a/c shop to hopefully solve the problem, since i have replaced the expansion valve twice from two different parts houses just incase one of them was bad.
