Re: bus lane ticket

There's always another way of turning and if you try to use that excuse in front of a judge then he will look at you and say "Why didn't you stay in your lane until the turn and then turn instead of using the bus lane." Not much fighting will be able to happen there if it's a small fine then I say just pay it and be careful in the future.

Re: bus lane ticket

I agree, never seen a bus lane before, we do have HOV lanes however for cars with more than 2 people in them. If you are alone and in these lanes you can expect a ticket. I suppose it is made to promote carpooling.

Re: bus lane ticket

Bus lane's are from what I've seen primarily in European countries. They're equivalent to our HOV lanes as in the hov lanes only vehicles with 2 or more passengers and sometimes motorcycles can travel in certain times. Over there it's the same but for buses during certain times that way the bus has a dedicated travel lane and doesn't have to keep pulling over and back out causing traffic tie ups. Something I think the major cities in all the states should look at as I'm tired of getting cut off by buses pulling out and having to come to a stop every 500 ft to let someone off.

Re: bus lane ticket

People, calm down, not everybody lives in the same country or has the same laws. No need to start calling people stupid for asking a question.
