'88 Rusty Lower Door Panels

Just wondering what you guys think: There are a few rust spot on the lower parts of my doors, above the chrome panel on the bottom, and one spot right behind the, uh, "side fenders", y'know, the peice of plastic on the middle of the door that sticks out a bit. ANYWAY, what should I do? Sand the spots down, spray them with a rust eater, fill the spots with bondo, and re-paint them? OR use these bad boys? http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...001044/c-10101 Either way they have to be painted white but I think maybe bondo-ing the holes and then covering them up with the panel repair kits might be a bit easier.

I repaired the rust on my 86 GM Wagon. Then I sprayed the lower rocker panels with truck bed liner coating. Both on the inside and outside. It stopped the rust cold. I live in Wisconsin and they have more salt on the road than pavement. I went through an entire winter and NO new rust appeared. The old rust stayed away too. The rough texture seems to make spraying off the salt build up easier as well. The bonus is that the black can be painted over with another color a few days after the black has dried nice and hard.
