Going Wankel

I'm looking for a new used sports car and I was thinking of buying a 3rd gen RX-7. I was just wondering how different it is having a rotary engine under the hood. From research and talking to people I hear they flood easily and the lack of low end torque mean you'll be switching gears alot. But what are the day-to-day things that are different from a piston engines. Do you have to let the engines warm up for a while....and stuff like that?

Re: Going Wankel

you let them warm up for like 2 mins then just drive around below 3k and once its warm let it rip

gas mileage kinda sucks on them but it can be decent if you drive like a pussy

Is that good or bad?

Re: Going Wankel

They arent too too bad on gas. For their engine size they are terrible (1.3L) but the effeciency compared to say a 4.5 L isnt bad.
