Tamiya Gunmetal Supra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok got the pics working, this is my tamiya supra painted in ts-38 gunmetal under an overcoat of ts-42 light gunmetal(pretty much the same color) still debating on wether i should polish it, it has been clearcoated, at first i thought of painting the car red, but i wanted something a little different and so i tried gunmetal, and now i fell in love with this color

some pics....

thx for looking, i was wondering if i could take a vote on which color the headlamps should be chrome silver, or gloss black, silver would look cleaner, but im still not sure, comments are welcome, updates soon........oh yea btw thats my bro's 2003 mustang in the background(pretty hot), hes trying to convert it into a roush mustang...do any of you know how to put a picture on a thread with out having to make it a link to the picture, for ex. you look at the thread and the picture is actually on the thread instead of a link

Easy. See the little icon of he mountains and sun when you post a thread? Click it, and then paste the address of the pic into the bar.

Looks good, but some larger pics would be cool.

Re: Tamiya Gunmetal Supra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would vote to polish it. You've already clearcoated it and it already has a great shine. Why not go for the ultimate shine? It's one of my favorite colours. 1 tip.. panellines. I guess you can even use black with this dark colour

Re: Tamiya Gunmetal Supra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok well i tryed polishing the hood today and well it turns out that i poilished through the clear coat and i began to lighten the metallic paint, and this has already happened once, and the thing is that i put a lot of clear coat on this thing and i didnt even polish it that much, so i have decided to re-paint the hood then ill clear coat it, after that i will sand( 2000 grit) the whole car enough to get all of the orange peel off, then i will attempt a wet coat of tamiya clear, and hopefully i will get a good enough shine with minimal orange peel
any suggestions would be helpful
