Helix Throttle Body Spacer

Anybody have one of these? I'm wanting to put one on a 6.0 2500HD. A couple friends told me they helped performance a little bit on the low end. For $80 I thought I'd try it out. Do you think it's worth the time/money to install?

Negative on that......after cutting one of these truck intake manifolds in two, you see that there really isn't any way it works. Inside the intake, the air goes through a long narrow tube before it drops into the cylinders. No way the swirling motion would last long enough to do any real seat of the pants difference. I bought one, and still have one on my truck. I was suckered into buying one years ago before I had seen the inside of the intake.

On a side note....some people claim they get power from them. Regardless of its dyno proven or simply in a person's head, whatever makes you happy......
Technically, though, they shouldn't work with the design of the intake.
