Yeah I blew a little over 2 grand a couple weeks ago, I am hoping the engine gets here this week(its suppose to arrive tommarow or Wed). If it does I will head home and throw that bitch in, if all goes well I will have a 6-bolt in my 95 by mid day or late afternoon sunday.

Re: I just blew about a grand on DSM parts...

Man I spent a lot too. Lets see, it was like $55 for the gasket set, but I sold the stock head gasket for $25 (getting an OEM metal one), then the ARP head studs we like $60, so I spent a whole $90 on my car already! F-n-a guys, this project is SO EXPENSIVE . Naw, I just havent gotten anything yet. Still need the head gasket, machine work, underdrive pulley, cams (if I get those used ones), then its on to the exhaust, then fuel pump, fpr, boost guage, and mbc, then FMIC, and somewhere in there DSMlink. I might be getting kicked out of track (missed practice for Ultimate Frisbee practice because today was an easy day in track and I have had to miss because of choir/show choir ) so I may have some extra working time soon. Also, prom is coming up. Oh well, looks like I'll just have to go give the money tree in the back yard a good shake .

Re: I just blew about a grand on DSM parts...

I forget what its called, but you can get something that converts any AWD into FWD so people can use a FWD dyno. Also, what would happen if you just took out the driveshaft?

You can just take out the transfer case...
I prefer to think of in horse power rather than money, that wasy you earn hp rather than spend thousands of dollars.
