factory radio question

i was wondering will a factory cd player out of a 2003 towncar work in a 1999

If you're talking about swapping one out, there may be a chance, but I don't have the answer to that question however, if you talking about adding one where there isn't one, forget it!!

One of the places Ford decided to save money was NOT to include the wire harnesses where OEM accessories were not added at the factory.

Several poeple have contemplated adding a factory CD changer where there wasn't one, the only solution was to replace the harnesses, and control unit along with the changer.

I did see one such collection for sale, wires, amps, HU, CD in the classifieds at Lol.
