O2 Sensor
Can anyone tell me where this O2 sensor is located (Bank No 1)?
CODE: P1131: Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 1 I think it is on the firewall side exhaust somewhere, but I want to be sure before I replace it. Also, is it difficult to get to? I have ramps, but no lift. Thanks, Mac |

Re: O2 Sensor
Man, this sounds really famliaure. oh well.
yea, if you are going to replace it. It is the one by the firewall. It should not be to hard with ramps. Some people say they can reach it from the top, but I reccommend the bottom. (In more ways than one )! Anyways back at that task at hand. YOu'll probally have to remove a cross member to reach the sensor. Then a 3/4 box wrench will be able to remove the sensor. Simple if you're take time and not afraid of the car. Let us know how it goes.

Re: O2 Sensor
Thanks - I appreciate the info!
That really doesn't sound like too much trouble at all after just pulling the transmission out of my truck
