Re: Service Vehicle Soon/ Security
One thing all these symptoms could have in common is the BCM. Thats not to say BCM IS the problem though. Couple other things to consider are: Battery/cable/charging system. The electronics are pretty sensitive to voltage flucuation and a shaky battery/alternater corroded cable connection can cause troubles. I would check cables for corrosion, in particular the one from battery to underhood fuse box. Secondly I would try to get an active load test done on battery/ charging system (turning over slower then normal?) . If those things check out ok, I know of one person that had troubles that corrected problem by using electronics cleaner (liquid stuff) on connections to BCM, and made sure connections were tight, and in this case problems went away. One other thing to try (and simplest thing) is to kinds reset BCM by removing negative cable from battery for about 20 seconds or so (alternative is to remove BCM fuse #28 (I think) in underhood fuse box for about 20 seconds) . Lastly it really could be BCM and that would require dealer to hook up scan tool and check for codes. Good luck
