Ok, I found an igniter chip, and I believe that it will work (Infiniti part number: 22020-60u00). The plugs fit, but there is one pin in one side of the plug (harness side) for the igniter that is not in the same place as the pin on the igniter itself (igniter side). So I don't know what will happen when I go to plug them in. Is this the change that was made between the 92-94 and 95-up infiniti q45s? Can this plug be rewired? or do I have to obtain a new plug? I believe the igniter is the same one found on the ca18det, and the plug looks like this:
Side that doesn't match with harness side: 1/1 1/1/1 Other side of Igniter (matches fine): 1/1 1/1 the harness plugs look like this: side that doesn't match the igniter: 1/1/1 1/1 and the other harness plug matches up exactly with the igniter's other side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
