Ferrari F1-2000 Schumacher,my 1st 3D car model

Hi Guys.

I am kind of new in this forum, but heard a lot of awesome things about this forum.
I just started modeling for around 2 months and this is my first 3D car model,
It was done in Maya 7.0 and rendered with mental ray.
Hope you guys like it.... and any feedback or comment will be much appreciate it

That is crazy, I've never been to this forum before. How much are those graphic programs? Where can you get them.

Theres a program called "Blender 3D" thats considered the best free 3D modeling program out there

Hi there, the program i am using is Maya from Alias. it is retailing around $2000USD for the standard version, and a lot more expensive for the unlimited version. It is probably the best complete 3D package around, but blender 3D is pretty cool(and free), maybe quite a good tool to get started in 3D modelling.

My dad got UGS from when he worked at Saab. I think it's about $15.000, think the CD's here somewhere
