R-34 Skyline R-Tune progress thread

Hey. This one won't get smashed . I had no intentions of starting another project but here it is anyway. This was a spare body and I was gonna use it as practice but then I sold my Z-Tune kit and had a change of mind. Thank GTMike400 for this thread; he got on me about not posting pics and I listened to him. I'm still thinking about wheels. Thanks.

Wow, Tonio! Can't believe you weren't going to post pics of that. Fantastic colour and decal combination.

Wonderful beast.
I'll imagine badass enough with smoked light's glass and black rims

Re: R-34 Skyline R-Tune progress thread

Thanks guys. TS-16 spray, Tamiya Z-Tune body, SAS Nismo front bumper and Tamiya detail parts (wheels will be black). Decals are mostly Tamiya with a few LauBak decals thrown in; the Nismo stripes were applied a bit differently than standard because I wanted to. Thanks

Re: R-34 Skyline R-Tune progress thread

Very nice

Sorry ahead of time for my little similar-subject hijack

My Aoshima Skyline kit was sitting too close to my Magnum SRT-8 kit

I hope this doesn't touch off WWIII on A/F...

Drive up to Atlanta on Saturday for our mini-palooza, we can both get a lot done on our models

Re: R-34 Skyline R-Tune progress thread

As much as I'd love to Bob, it won't be a reality for me I'm still in the trenches as a new guy on the job plus we're not fully staffed at our facility yet so my "expertise" is something they claim they need. I've got time off steadily building up though!
