Exclamation trans am help

i am buying a 87trans am and it has a 305 but the speedomitor says 80 mph whats this mean?

na man the speedomitor only goes 80 most 305 speedomitors go to 130

It may have come from an older 3rd gen bird or possibly a V6.

That is just hilarious! I am sure he knows how to read the milage or the trip milage lol. Obviously he was trying to say that the speedometer goes up till only 80mph.
No offense, but the car seems pretty old and 80mph wont get you any where. Keep your search on!

Hah very funny, but thats my liscense** plate. It looks good in the corner and i thought i should hide it from others eyes. Speaking of plates, why do people hide their plates? Also, you guys are just jealous of my v6! Seriously, i think i am the only v6 guy with a firebird. The forum should be named panzies wid big v8s.
