Question -=CR-VTEC or Turbo B16 ?=-

I have an 89 SI HB, and the motor has 192K on it. However, it runs like new! I am quite impressed with my little Honda D16A6. However I need speed! So I was wondering if any of you have experience with the CR-VTEC frank? And if so which would you suggest for a daily driven vette killer, the CR-VTEC or a B16A1 with a turbo? I mean, I like working on my car, but not every time I need to go somewhere in it.

Thanks
-PH

O that is a tough one I would think the b16a/turbo would be better but maybe have you even though about b20/turbo?

Well it is hard to decide because it really depends on how much money you want and what you like better. All motor or forced induction. If you go all out on a B16a1 (pistons, rods, resleeved, kniveedged crank, blueprinted and balanced, port n polished head,etc...) you can boost a lot and make some real good power. If you dont want to go all out and just use stock internals I think safely you can boost 'bout 8 lbs. With a crvtec if you go all out with some better cams, fuel, ecu, internals, manifold, port-n-polished head, etc... you can easily make over 200 hp at the wheels with about 135+lbs. of torque. So as I said it all depends on what you really want to do. Check out importreview.com to help you make up your mind.....they have some dyno charts on different applications.
