Real quick question
ok you are probbully going to call me a dum ass but i dont know what goes on that hole with the two bolts.
![]() also what kind of surpintine belt system do you think this is i cant get my old 302 brackets to fit, ![]() ![]() the engine is a 302 im not sure on the specs right now, thanks |

Well the whole is for the mechanical fuel pump push rod. It runs off of the cam and pumps the lever for mechanical fuel pumps. If your running an electric pump then just block off the hole.
For the belt issue thats a V-belt system. Not serpentine.

ok i found the pullys on summit but witch brackets for the alt and ps pump should i get there is like 15 of them, and im sorry for the dum questions.

would it just be easer and cheaper to take off the water pump and crank pully, and put on a surpintine system since i have all the brackets for it, or will that not work, thanks.

Yes that would work, be easiest, and perform better.
