Re: Plugs in '98 Taurus
Which engine do you have (12V, 24V, or 32V)?

Re: Plugs in '98 Taurus
In order to change out the blinker assembly you have to remove the bumper cover. It really is not that difficult. Ther are several small screws on the bottom (about 8 I guess) they are 7/32 head screws (most of the time). There is one screw on either side of the cover just forward of the wheel, about five bolts inside the hood area. Then the worst (but very easy) you must remaove the headlight assemblies. On the 98 there are 3 scres plus a hold down bolt you must only loosen. The pull the bumper cover off. There are two phillips head screws and push the light out. Good luck. It really only takes about 15 minutes to remove. All this for an $11 dollar part seems senseless but it is necessary.

Re: Plugs in '98 Taurus
In the off chance you haven't already replaced the plugs, the rear three on the 24V Duratec should be accessible once you remove the coil pack from the rear valve cover.
