Talking Re: finaly got some pics of my box that i was talking about

i could have squezed duals in there but then i would have had apsolutly no trunk space, and i use that little space for my books, but its a power acustic 2000W FUBAR 12" and ive got a power acustic 1920 plasma amp. so she does the trick. the only thing i hate is that the bass can be hitting so hard when your inside you could shoot someone in your car and no one would hear it over the system, but if your standing outside when its beating you could hear a fly fart... the car is just very sound proof.. but hey thats what exhausts are for lol... although one day after work..i work at a dicks sporting goods btw i was outside infront of the store looking in at the big screen and when ever my sub hit a real low note the screens would get all fuzz.. so iono. it pleases me either way...

Re: finaly got some pics of my box that i was talking about

I first want to tell you how much I like your car, since it's a dark green 3/s, I'm kinda partial to them myself

Secondly, and I say this only because it is my passion and I take it very seriously. With regards to your setup, I have to ask....why did you get power acoustik? No offence, but why would you put a bottom of the barrel system in a top of the line car? When it comes to car audio, in my opinion, you can't just get crap. My very first system was "crap", but I thought it was the best ever. It would set car alarms off and stuff, but it was seriously crap. (I can admit it now) If you think that your system is that loud, then we should meet up someday and you could sit in my car, and hopefully I could turn you into an audiophile like myself and get you hooked up with some really nice stuff.

If you happen to be curious, click the link in my sig and you will see some pics of my system. Here is a link of my system in action back in November 2005 at a local 3/s meet we had in Omaha, Ne. http://www.ink3s.org/member_img/nebr...T/DSCN1138.MOV

Re: finaly got some pics of my box that i was talking about

well the only reason i have power acoustics was because a friend of mine had bought them then the very next day when we were at some car show in VA he won like 10k worth of audio equipment for his car. so i said to him jokinging can i have the ones you just bought and he was like ok. so i was like sweet. i mean i dont listen to alot of rap and shit, plus i dont need my seats to give me a back massage(i got plenty of bitches for that) but it does all i need it to do. plus i had never planed on getting a system any ways, so i all payed for in the end was wood and capet, but thanx for your consurn about the rather shit quality.

Re: finaly got some pics of my box that i was talking about

The only thing I could think of is to put a speaker terminal cup in instead of that hole where the wires run in, unless that is a tuned port, but if it is why have wires running in it?

http://i3.tinypic.com/vo7wxk.jpg

Other than that, nice job, cant tell by the pics but did you match the box carpet to the interior carpet?

Re: finaly got some pics of my box that i was talking about

im just one of those slack people that like to kill a bunch of birds with one stone. but yes it is a port tune box and the wires are in a convienent place plus my back seats are always up so no one sees it. and if none of this makes sense...i am fucked up again...which as we all know is the only time i post. but hey it is 4-20 after all lol

Re: finaly got some pics of my box that i was talking about

If you dont run the crap out of your system you dont nesseccarly need anything special. My one polk audio sub with my infinity (aftermarket) speakers shakes the living hell out of my seat as it is.
