Hi Thomas,

Do you check the engine codes when the engine light comes on? What does it indicate? It shouldn't go out until you delete the codes or disconnect the battery.

Im not sure what you mean by "Takes 3/4 Goes"? Do you mean 3 to 4 starts, or depress the gas pedal 3/4 of the way down?

Also, no offense intended but it might be easier to understand your problem if you at least punctuated things properly.
