1998 2500 Diesel

I am considering buying a 2500 Diesel Ram. It has 62,000 miles but it is a manual transmission which is nice. Is there any real problems with this year Ram? I know the Cummins Diesel is the best so i am not worried about the engine but any small problems that will make me angry?

Re: 1998 2500 Diesel

On the 98 diesel Ram you are looking at, I could tell you quite a bit about them but it would be easier for you to check out a cupple of great sites which have all the info you could ever want to know about the Dodge Cummins combination....they are Diesel Ram.com and Diesel truck resource.com By the way I have a 94 2500 2wheel drive with a twelve valve Cummins and automatic. It has about 130k miles on it and runs like new. I pull a 3 horse trailer and grosse about 14000 lbs. No problems [yet] So check out these two sites and good luck with your purchase....regards Bob M.
