Hanging Caliper

Hi Fellas
I Have A 92 R/s With What Seems To Have An Easy Fix.the Left Front Caliper Will Not Release Unless The Bleeder Is Opened. Ive
Rebuilt The Caliper, Replaced The Master Cylinder Flushed The Lines
Replaced The Caliper And Ive Only Made It Worst.ive Done A Thousand Gm Brake Jobs In The Last Thirty Five Years And Have Never Encountered This Problem.what Am I Missing.upon Jacking The Auto, the Right Wheel Is Free Spinning After Applying The Brake and releasing it. The Left Side Can Only Be Rotated With A Lug Wrench In The Studs.the Fluid Appears To Be Returning To The M/c As It Spurts In The Air With The Cover Removed.the Brake Lines Are Not Smashed Or Restricted. It Bleeds Normally With Good Volume. Driving the auto give the same signs. The auto pulls to the right with light pressure on the pedal, will stop kinda straight and then with the pedal released, will go left for about ten seconds and then straight. It all sez caliper but my efforts have not fixed this problem. Any help ? Teddy

Re: Hanging Caliper

A caliper is only going to get hung up if the piston seal has a deformality in it of the hose is garbage. Since you sadi you have rebuilit it already, I would almost eliminate the piston seal (acts as the "return spring"). I'm leaning tooward the hose.
