Night shots...

Took the camera out tonight to see if I could get some good night shots.
A couple turned out okay. It was windy, so the tripod would rock just a touch and blur the pic. Gonna try again next weekend.
Any pointers from the photography gurus.

Camera is a Kodak Z740.

yup put it in photoshop and fade the background a little so that the car stands out even more..its really easy if you have photoshop and there are plenty of tutorials to do it...ahh im bored ill go ahead and do it.

I'm not a camera guro but I think you might get a better picture if the lights are not shining into, or in the direction of the camera lens.
Basicly with the lights behind the camera.

I can tell the car is brighter than the background.

I guess that would be a downfall of a black car. Blends in at night.

when you fade the background the car looks superimposed, almost like it's not supposed to be there. anyway, car looks savage luos.

what in the hell you used to make that car that shiny Curtis? man, it is 99 but l swear looks newer than 2005 model cars.. my wife has 2006 escape (ford just gave her and took back the mercury) and l swear yours looks newer

I think the picture focuses too much on the building. Its not close enough to the car. I changed the lights / lighting to make it look more like the picture is about the car.

I think the problem was the building was too lit up. Too bright.

I was gonna get a bunch more but the cameras batteries died. Already bought new ones, but I was tired as hell as it was.
I will try again next weekend.

man you should write to high performance pontiac magazine and get in on one of their shootouts, they never have enough fourth gens and your is one of the best out there..
