92 Conti Keyless remote entry

I have just given my son my old 92 Conti. It has keyless entry, but not the remote kind. He says he has seen where it was an option for that year. I bought the car used and there were no fobs for it, so how would I know if the car is even has this option. No big deal, but I don't want him spending money on a fob that won't work for him.
