Couple of ¿'s any answers very appreciated
1st ¿ when racing your car (my car is stock) would you take it up to the redline (7000rpm) before you switching gears? Will this hurt the engine? If you change before the redline (6000rpm) would this be acceptable and not hurt the engine¿ When they test cars what rpm do they switch at?
2nd ¿ I have a 98 eclipse and was wondering if everything on a 95 talon would be just the same as a 98 eclipse, more specific the engine, exhaust, and short throw shifter? |

the stock turbo on the 4g63 doesn't make much power past 6000rpms, I would shift there.

Re: Couple of ¿'s any answers very appreciated
Thanks for all the responces, they helped alot. As for the everything else, my car is a 98 Eclipse RS NT yeah I know I should sell it and get better but I cant. No money!! The Talon was a 95 NT so they would have fit but they guy sold it already so I guess I will just go look around the junk yard or see what I can find. I would post pics of my car but I dont have any and before I bought it the guy painted it and it looks gay. And I would paint it but I want to get a body kit first no since in painting it and then having to paint the body kit when I get it! And again thanks for the reply's!
