exhaust dumps
im wanting to put some dumps on my car just before the cats and i would like ot know where i could buy 2.5" cable dumps or cheaper electric dumps but would be fine for cable dumps

JC Whitney has dump pipe kits like that. Cable operated, you'd need 2. These are really more effective on Turbo vehicles, unless you just want the rumble to look "cool".

are u talking about dumps or cutouts? why would u want to run half a midpipe and no catback on the street, is that legal?

He's talking about cable-operated cutouts, the type you can close to run mufflers.

Dumps = synonymous with turndowns, it refers to exhaust that dumps in front of the rear axle
Cutout = A section of exhaust with a removable cap, often used to bypass the mufflers in order to decrease backpressure and increase exhaust sound. Cable and butterfly cutouts are more prone to leak and get stuck than the type with a cap.
