I got an Avital alarm from Best Buy and it works great. It has the door locks and it even has a 6 tone siren which attracts more attention than the "normal" alarm. It was $199 I believe. That price included their installation. They did a good job on mine but I've heard some places do a horrible job and don't hide the alarm "brain" very good. So you might want to check out your local store first.
If you do plan on installing it yourself, make sure you look at your warranty card when you buy any alarm. A lot of them require professional installation to keep the warranty valid. |
