My 95 contour started having problems yesterday it is manual trans. it hiccups when I give it too much gas not so much in 1st or 2nd gear but 3rd 4th and 5th. If then will run a little rough but then smooth out and be fine. Any ideas????? also where is the pcv valve located? and how do I change it?

get the car on ramps, climb under and look up behind the exhaust manifold. its right there. you need a flat head screw driver and small hands. I HAve pretty big hands and it was a PITA!

They are cheap, but way too much of a PITA in my opinion to change. I've never had a car simply have a PCV valve go bad, usually it's various things causing the problem, the PCV valve being the least of them.
