astro starter

problems with srarter, starter will locate motor 2 times then disengages before it starts

well check the two studs on the starter , make sure its tight, mine were loose and it would engage theengine, otherwise perhaps you should replace the starter, or the copper washer that the postitive cable goes to might be fried, any of those will cause bad poblems, i change my starter about every 3 yrs, darn things go bad in this northern climate i live in
