1993 s-10 2.8 5 speed want start at times
1993 s-10 2.8 5 speed want start at times can prime engine runs fine after that cold start seems to be ok but once warm have to prime engine to start.Battery,starter all ok.New fuel filter,air filter,and getting fuel to carb just want start on its own fuel when warm after priming runs great.

![]() You don't really have a carb on your ride, it's a throttle body fuel injection system. Keeping this in mind it needs a fair amount of fuel pressure there for it to run. I'm guessing that you don't have enough pressure there. This could either be the fuel pump packing it in or your pressure regulator on it's way out If you try a forum search you'll probably find out how much pressure is required, and how to test it. Sorry that I don't have the spec's available. Try looking at the threads that I've started and you'll find a test procedure using home built tools. |
