Cool More boom for my buck...anyone?

Hey,
Have finally finalized my mod list for my 96 eclipse gst and turns out that this list is going to cost me roughly $11k. Are there any parts on this list that I can change for better ones if I were to buy them used? The turbo is a big problem. Turns out that I can't buy this turbo set up from up here in Montreal Canada. Any ideas on suitable replacements?

ACT XACT Streetlite flywheel
ACT Maxx Xtreme Clutch Kit
APEXi Super AFC II
DC SPORT Carbon steel strut tower bars (front)
DC SPORT Carbon steel strut tower bars (rear)
GREDDY EVO2 exhaust
GREDDY 660cc fuel injectors
GREDDY Type-S boost controller
ROTORA Crossdrilled/slotted big brake kit
AGP Turbo kit (full race turbo upgrade, race manifold T3/T4 50 trim T3/T4, .63 A/R housing, 700+HP race intercooler kit, HKS SSQV BOV, 38mm Evolution Wastegate 3" Intake)
TEIN EDFC- Electronic Damping force controller
TEIN SS (supper street) Coilovers
WALBRO 255lph HP in-tank fuel pump
NX Nitrous Express dual stage EFI system
Eprom ECU
DSMlink

Thanks all

Re: More boom for my buck...anyone?

You won't need such a fancy suspension unless you are planning on rally racing. I'd change that to something better suited for your price range. Also, I wouldn't do the Nitrous until after you run that setup for a while. You should be quite happy with the results without nitrous... If not, then add it. That should save you quite a bit... I just can't see how your list would have added up to 11k unless you were buying all that from the most expensive vendors.

Holy shit screw that! Thats way too expensive for a turbo thats only a 50 trim. Maybe you should look around a little bit more on the turbo... You could pick up a nice evoiii 16g for like 500 bucks brand new. Heck I think you could even find a 20g for around 900 or so... Wow... 4500... Screw that...

Re: More boom for my buck...anyone?

why do you have a safc2 and dsmlink??? You don't want both, just get dsmlink, that saves you a few hundred.

that turbo kit is way too expensive. Look at the AGP RS49T or RS60T. Look at the PTE SCM50. But slowboy's new manifold, get a tial external wastegate, port the 02housing, buy any fmic from the vendors listed (I recommend slowboy's,obviously ) This should be about half that kit.

You'll need a fuel pressure regular with a 255 pump. Basically that list needs a lot of tweaking, are you actually ready to buy all this?

I pesonally would swap the Act streetlight for a Fidanza unit, its lighter and and you can get one for about 218, shipped off of ebay. What are your power goals?

Re: More boom for my buck...anyone?

I agree, many autocross racecars would envy that suspension, unless you are a sponsored pro autocrosser, that is WAY overkill. Also, ditch the name brands. Greddy stuff is nice, but its expensive as hell. Megan exhaust is way cheaper, but works just as great. If you know how to weld and are relatively patient, you can weld one for ~$300. eBay intercoolers work fine so getting the AGP would be totally pointless. Also, remember that your stock engine can only take 450 or a tad more, you'd have some pretty expensive fireworks on that setup.
