suggestions for mods plz

aight... hey guys whats goin on.
i have just recently got a silver 04 2.2 Liter 4-cyl. and i dont kno much bout cars at all. i have just started to get interested. i kno the car alone isnt fast at all. So i have about $4,500 thou. i was hoping that i could get some help from you guys to kno where i should start at. i cant use more than 500$ a month (i cant drop below $3,500 in savings). plz list sites if u can.
i was thinking that i would start out with 2 or 3 big engine modds then go to looks. but im open to all suggestions.

One that I always recommend doing are the strut tower braces. You can get them at partsforyourcar.com and they're pretty reasonable. You will notice a huge improvement in handling especially in corners and turns.

Something I have been considering is a new throttle body, but I haven't looked into brands or anything like that.

Other than those two things, I would keep my car stock. I bought it for what it is, not what it can be. Plus, I've paid enough for it already. Just my opinion...

exhaust and cold air intake also a short throw shifter would be a nice improvement but if your going to get that, get the pro5
