tranny vibrations/subtle jerks while on a complete stop...

while on 'D'rive and on a complete stop, the tranny seems to be engaging in such a way that it jerks every now and then very subtle. Initially I though the engine was causing the jerks(misfire) because I notice the tacometer dropping when it happens. No CEL andwhen I put it to 'N'eutral or 'P'ark the subtle jerks don't happen. So I'm thinking it happens only when the tranny is engaged in 'D'rive and when I'm on a complete stop stepping on the brakes.

Hi, No trans problem here, It's driveability, Start looking for ALL the basics, Plugs, Wires, Fuel pressure, Vac, leaks, You know, The basics come first, Don't get outside the box in your diagnosis...GOOD LUCK....Clay...
