Injector O rings

The top and bottom O rings for the injectors, are they different colors ?. I heard that the bottom was brown and the top black, so would that also mean they are the same size ?

Re: Injector O rings

I have no idea why they are a different color. They are both the same size. I have seen no differnece at all in between them. I have gotten them before in them same colors and i have gotten some that are brown and black.

But, it may be a good idea to put all the brown ones on top of the injectors and put all the black ones on the bottom of the injector. Just be sure to replace all the O-rings on the injectors, fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator.

Hope this helps.

Re: Injector O rings

I was told the brown ones go on the bottom and they are made out of a different material then the black and can withstand the heat better .
