I've seen that done in real life. Saturday nights at our hangout the parking lot everyone meets at is like literally divided into two. On one side the real "enthusiasts" hang out, and on the other side it's the ricers. The ricers are always trying to show off. Well this one night about a dozen high school students were holding down a Dodge Shadow while it did a burnout with a neutral drop. They didn't hang on long enough to get dragged, but we were still laughing at them. And then of course one of the Camaro owners had to show them how real burnouts are done.
