Disc brake conversion
Has anyone done a rear disc brake conversion on a 95 metro 2 door?
I see on e-bay someone has a set up for a 89-94 swift. would this fit on the 95? if not, does anyone have a setup that would fit. we use the car for delivering papers and make about 800 stops a day. Thanks for your help on this project.

Oh it's worth it. The added stopping power of the discs is incredible. But, you will still have smaller front discs which is a big problem. Your brake bias is gonna be very fu@#ed up. You'll end up locking the rear brakes up before the fronts. Does your 95' have a 1.0 or 1.3 currently?

Ahh, good. The 1.3 axles will fit just fine into GT hubs. It's quite a lot of work, but the improvement in braking is really good. If it's just a daily driver, maybe stainless steel brake lines would be an easier upgrade.

i live in bellingham not to far from you and i have a set of front disks from a swift gt and some rear brake stuff if you don't get the one on e-bay or need other pieces
