2001 Monte Carlo Night-time Dash Lights

I have a dash light problem on a 2001 Monte Carlo SS.

- Dash Lights work just fine during the day

- When it switches over to the Night-Time lights, my Dash lights (instrument panel, radio) are dimmed to a point where they are barely visible and unreadable.

- The Dimmer has no effect at night when the lights are out/dimmed.

Is this a fuse? If so, which one?

If somebody could just point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it! I'm not too knowledgable about cars, so any detailed info is even more appreciate!

Thanks

Re: 2001 Monte Carlo Night-time Dash Lights

You're dimmer is probably bad and you'll have to replace it.
